SkyView WARN Act Software

SkyView WARN Act software is currently under development. The software platform will provide the “Front Side” interface for Network Operations Personnel allowing them to view which sites in the network have broadcasted Alert Messages received from the Alert Aggregator at the US Department of Homeland Security.

The software will show a 3D representation of the Network with the geographic locations of each site and sector in the Cellular, PCS, AWS, or 700MHz Communications system. It will also display the “Alert Polygon” – the geographic area where the imminent emergency is occurring – as it is received from the Alert Aggregator. The Google Earth™ interface will clearly show what currently broadcast alert messages, their associated alert polygons, the sector symbols colored based on the sites which have broadcast the message, and the current status provided by the Alert Aggregator.

SkyView WARN Act Software also has the capability to provide the Sector ID’s of the sites in the system which should broadcast the alert messages to the Cell Broadcast Equipment. This is accomplished by our existing Geo-Location algorithm which requires only the geographic points defining the alert polygon (from the WARN message) and the latitude and longitude of each site in the system.

SkyView WARN Act Software is scheduled for Release during Q3 of 2010.
